Role Summary 

As part of the Learning and Development (L&D) team, the L&D Coordinator will be part of a team that designs, builds, coordinates, and delivers training programs and other L&D initiatives, while working to continuously evolve our learning culture and ethos here at GFT. The L&D Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the learning and development team and will also play a crucial role in wider learning, development, and talent management initiatives for the UK.


Role Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for GFT employees wanting to book training courses
  • Provide a complete administration service to the L&D team in relation to all in-house and external training courses
  • Collect, manage, and analyse data to support Learning and Development
  • Action training requests and queries from the learning inbox and provide general administrative support including managing the central training register
  • Support in the end-to-end process of our new joiner induction
  • Track the completion of Mandatory training during onboarding and beyond
  • Be involved in various projects as required such as training needs analysis and people analytics
  • The opportunity to design and/or source relevant training courses based on business needs and budget
  • Take part in key learning and development, initiatives such as Line Manager Development, Career Frameworks, and Talent Management
  • Provide adhoc support for the wider HR Team


Competencies and Skills Needed

Mandatory Skills:

  • High level of attention to detail
  • Organised and can effectively prioritise work
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Demonstrable experience of data analysis and reporting
  • Strong communication skills as you will be interacting with stakeholders at all levels across the business
  • Previous experience in learning, development, and talent management (at least 1-2 years)
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
  • A committed and collaborative team player
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages particularly PowerPoint and Excel
