GCP Pre-Sales Engineer

We are looking for a technologist to join the GFT team and help build out our rapidly expanding Google business.

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will engage with prospective and existing clients early in the sales cycle and will work with sales and engineering teams from GFT & Google on evangelising our capabilities, writing technical proposals, respond to RFPs and shaping opportunities. You will help customers understand GFT’s offering, explain technical features, help with architectural designs and engage in proof of concepts and workshops.

 

Key Capabilities

  • Previous pre-sales engineering experience is a must
  • Good understanding of technical sales, especially for large enterprises
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to C-suite executive
  • Thought leadership, especially in emerging technologies
  • Strong technical management background
  • Stakeholder management and influencing

Technical Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud in general
  • Strong technical, architectural and design skills
  • Ability to execute prototyping workshops to prove out proposed architectures
  • Guide customers through assessment of their existing legacy application environments
  • Identify technical shortcomings and provide technical roadmap recommendations
