What will you do?


As a Project Portfolio Manager you will be involved in day to day people, risks and deliverables management and planning of highly visible and time sensitive portfolio of projects or a programme. This function is also responsible for ensuring smooth, unilateral communication between the Client and GFT management.  You will work closely with the business and technical stakeholders, Delivery Manager and functional & technical leads to facilitate the successful completion of project deliverables. Naturally, an ability to lead and motivate teams of oustanding IT engineers, great communication skills, an inspirational and consultative approach and the drive to deliver above and beyond expectation are also essential. 



Your skills:


  • 5+ years of commercial experience in managing software delivery in an agile way
  • Exceptional people leadership skills and experience
  • Experience of working within large, corporate organisations
  • Ability to communicate to both business and technical audiences
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Flexible working approach to a frequently changing environment
  • Good team player and collaborative worker
  • Interest and ability to understand business issues
  • Ability to work out the details of tasks 
  • Experience of a variety of delivery methodologies (both scaled and standard)
  • Capital Markets or similar financial experience would be a significant advantage
