.Net Support Developer

Job description

Our Ideal Candidate:


We are looking for a passionate .Net Support Developer for the Credit Team to provide support and maintenance of our Client Credit’s current-state pre and post trade Compliance systems. As a .Net Support Developer, responsibilities include being the primary support person to Dublin Compliance users during Dublin morning hours and will also assist the New York Tech team on daily Compliance support duties. Primary duties include resolving technical and functional issues, maintain and support fund investment rules, and develop and maintain application features, interfaces, and reports. Must be proficient in SQL, SSRS, SSIS, and C# .NET, working experience in Angular JS, Python or F# are a plus, and knowledge in bank loans and fixed income products are good to have but not required.




  • Be the primary support person to Dublin Compliance users during Dublin morning hours.
  • Assist the New York Tech team on daily technical support duties.
  • Engage and learn about business rules related to financial areas as Credit.
  • Collaborate with the development of new features, enhancements and maintenance of the existing system, including bug fixing.
  • Interact dynamically with BA's, QA's and other leads to clarify business requirements.
  • Analyze existing code to understand performance impact and propose solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
  • Write well-designed,  scalable, and testable code.
  • Design software solutions that efficiently fit in a existent application ecosystem.
  • Lead code reviews to drive code implementations towards the best results.
  • Advise on software development best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex methodologies and results to the technical team.
  • Be able to take requirements in from business stake holders on software needs and build on them.


Skills Required:


  • 3+ years of experience as software engineer, software developer or similar function.
  • Is familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment.
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot existing code and maintain existing systems.
  • Ability to identity performance bottlenecks.
  • Experience working with version control tools such as GIT and CI/CD tools like Team City and Jenkins.
  • Proficient in C# .Net development language
  • Proficient in SQL, SSRS, SSIS
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Design and SOLID principles
  • Experience with software quality, testing procedures and build automation tools
  • Experience with Unit Testing, Mocking and Dependency Injection frameworks
  • Knowledge of the Principles & Patterns of Agile Software
  • Knowledge in bank loans and fixed income products
