If Contract - Duration: 4 Months – Possible to Extend

Contract Daily Rate: $ 800

GFT is looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for managing the global delivery of an impactful financial operation. This requires a cross regional, cross entity deliveries and a lot of co-ordination across various business, finance and operations teams globally. 

Responsibilities:

• Works with business partners to understand needs, define cross functional plan and project scope;
• Creates Project plan in line with company’s methodology;
• Reviews plans and milestones with technical and business board and obtains approval for possible changes;
• Manages risk, issues, dependencies;
• Clears path and escalates accordingly;
• Enters and maintains RAG/Schedule date/comments milestones;
• Raises change control requests;
• Supports quality assurance reviews;
• Manages project’s financials;
• Interacts with senior management, coordinating project and its possible escalations;
• Manages delivery objectives ensuring scope accuracy;
• Documents project artifacts;
• Reports metrics to ensure project deliveries are tracked, accurately reported, and met;
• Builds cross regional relationships and works with teams from multiple worldwide locations and timezones;

Requirements:

• +7 years of experience as a Project Manager;
• Vast knowledge and experience with Agile Methodologies;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Visio;
• Strong Knowledge of Fixed Income settlements;
• Strong Knowledge of Sponsored Repo;
• Experience with Regulatory deliveries;
• Experience working with FICC;
• Strong leadership, influencing and problem-solving skills;
• Strong analytic and self-starting skills;
• Strong organization and communication skills;
• Interpersonal skills and ability to manage teams based in different regions across the world;
